This Hila Party Privacy Policy explains how Hila Party processes any personal data we collect from visitors and users of the Hila Party App and Website or any other services that are related to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Hila Services”).
We value the privacy of users, subscribers, publishers, members, and others who visit and use the Hila Services (collectively or individually, “you” or “users”) and want you to be familiar with how we collect, use, and disclose personal information from and you.
You may share personal information when using the Hila Services. One example is when you provide information about yourself as part of the Hila account creation process. Another is when you take certain actions on the Hila Services that are public or intended to be public in nature, such as when you broadcast content, post profile information, follow a channel, or subscribe to a broadcast channel. Given the social nature of some of the Hila Services, that information may be collected, used, or disclosed by others who are part of that social interaction. In addition, some features of the Hila Services are designed to provide others with information about user activity, such as identifying the user who created a particular Clip or the subscription status of users for a given channel. We encourage you to be mindful of this when considering your activity on the Hila Services.

You must strictly abide by the terms of this Agreement, community guidelines, child safety policies and all applicable laws and regulations throughout your use of Hila Party services.
Hila Party is not intended for children. Children under the age of 18 may not use Hila Party for any purpose without their parent/guardian's consent to this Privacy Policy. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 18 without such consent. If you believe we hold any personal information from a child under the age of 18 without parental/guardian consent, please contact our Data Protection Officer, and we will promptly investigate (and delete) such personal information.
Your use of the Hila Party service must strictly comply with the terms of this Agreement, the Community Guidelines, the Child Safety Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations.
You promise not to carry out the following behaviors (including but not limited to):
(1) Creation of illegal and inappropriate content
You may not produce, upload, disseminate, or store any content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, involving sexual exploitation/abuse of minors, infringing on privacy or publicity rights, harassing, threatening, abusive, inflammatory, or otherwise offensive.
(2) Identity theft and fraud
You may not impersonate another person/organization or falsely claim to be associated with another person/organization; you may not access another person's account, forge another person's information, or transmit content without permission; any form of fraud is prohibited.
(3) Infringement of user rights
You may not defame, harass, insult, threaten, or deceive other users; you may not collect or attempt to collect their personal information (including third-party information) without their consent.
(4) Destroying technology and security mechanisms
You may not delete, circumvent, disable, or damage security features of services or user content (such as copyright notices, anti-copying restrictions, etc.); you may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or parse service source code beyond the scope permitted by law.
(5) Interfering with service operation
You may not spread malicious programs such as viruses, adware, spyware, etc.; you may not interfere with the normal operation of services, server stability, or network connections; you may not damage other users' experience by excessive use, disrupting functions, etc.
(6) Evading platform control
You may not attempt to bypass content filtering technology; you may not access service areas or functions that you do not have permission to access.
(7) Illegal use
You may not use the service for any illegal purpose (including but not limited to violating intellectual property, data protection, privacy and other laws and regulations).
The official has set up an audit system on the platform to detect illegal and infringing content. If a user is found to have engaged in any of the above prohibited behaviors, the account will be banned.
Hila Party is not responsible for the following matters:
The legality, accuracy or quality of the content posted by users;
Errors, defamation, false information or other bad content that may appear in the service;
Losses or damages caused by users' illegal use of the service;
Private litigation claims by third parties based on this agreement (this agreement does not constitute a guarantee that the service does not contain illegal content).
Hila Party does not endorse or guarantee the authenticity, opinions or statements of user content, and expressly exempts all liability related to it.
Hila Party reserves the following rights within the scope permitted by law:
Delete, block, edit, etc. content that violates this Agreement or the law;
Take measures such as restricting functions and suspending services for users who violate the rules;
Terminate or suspend the user's service rights due to violations.
You shall bear the risks of using the service at your own risk and are advised to:
Back up important content regularly (backup costs and responsibilities are borne by you);
If you find any illegal content, you can report it though official channel. Hila official will review and handle the reported content within 24 hours;
Block or blacklist other users to prevent them from entering your room, searching for your account, viewing your profile, chatting with you, and other harassment
Content deletion or service restrictions caused by violations must be restored or recreated by yourself.
Any violation of this clause shall constitute a breach of this agreement, and Hila Party has the right to take corresponding disposal measures in accordance with the agreement.
We obtain information about you through the means discussed below when we provide the Hila Services. Please note that we need certain types of information so that we can provide the Hila Services to you.

You consent to provide some or all of the following Personal Information when you create an account on the App or use Hila Services, such as uploading contents on the App or contact us for technical support:
- Registration information, such as your date of birth, phone number (or email, if applicable), password, user identifier and language;
- Date of Birth: We collect your date of birth solely to verify that you meet the minimum age requirement to use the Services. If you do not meet the minimum age requirement, you will not be able to create an account or access the Services. Your date of birth is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, or any unrelated purposes;
- Profile information, such as your alias, profile pictures, gender, self-introduction, social media information;
- User-generated contents (“UGC”), such as comments, texts, messages, pictures, pictures, videos, sounds, code or other data or materials that you upload, distribute or stream on the App when you use Hila Services;
-Facial data, such as when you use some features provided by us to create special effects or emojis for your streaming section or pictures that you uploaded on Hila Services. But such data will only be processed offline to fulfill the special effects or emojis. We will not use it for other purposes, unless we have obtained your explicit consent or turn this into de-identified data. Further, we will not use your facial data for marketing or advertising, nor will we share such data with any third party. In addition, if you use Real-Person Profile Picture Authentication, we will collect your profile picture and facial-recognition video for Real-Person Profile Picture Authentication on the premise of your approval by comparing your profile picture with face-recognition video. This authentication can protect you from impersonators and fake accounts, or develop the authenticity of Hila Services. We do not retain your face recognition video in our servers, such video is merely for verifying;
- Payment information, such as full name, billing address, billing zip code, billing country, date of birth, purchase amount, payment method, credit or debit card number or other payment information where required for payment;
- Transaction information such as the transaction serial number and transaction historical records after you purchased Paid Services;
- Communication method, such as information used to verify your account or to resolve your feedback or complaints; and Information you provide when participating in in-app surveys and activities.
- Information you provide from social media when you create a Hila account by connecting with a third-party social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, or if you link a Hila account with a third-party social media account.
- Location data, which is information obtained from your GPS, Wi-Fi, compass, accelerometer, IP address, or public posts containing location information. Location information will be disclosed to us, other users, or both, in the following circumstances:
- Information and UGC you provide when participating in our events, promotions, challenges, contests, and sweepstakes, or during other interactions with our social media sites.
We may collect some or all of the following Personal Information about you when you use Hila Services for legitimate interests:
- Network activity information, such as your browsing history, search history, the videos or pages you visited, the date and time of your visits, other users’ accounts that you subscribed to, and information regarding your interaction with other users;
- Information from Other Sources: We may obtain additional information from third parties and sources other than the Hila Services. For example, we may obtain additional information from games or services you use, or social media networks (such as Facebook) for which you have approved our access. When you access the Hila Services through social media networks or when you connect the Hila Services to social media networks, you are authorizing Hila to collect, store, and use such additional information and content in accordance with this Privacy Policy;
- Device identifiers, such as your operating system, browser type, brand, model and serial number of your mobile device, Internet Protocol (IP) address, mobile carrier, screen resolution, language setting, IMEI number, IMSI number, and media access control address;
- Information regarding your access to and use of other apps;
- Mobile advertising identifiers, which are used by mobile operating systems and made available to advertising providers to gather metrics on mobile apps (Apple’s IDFA or Google’s AAID) to help us and advertisers provide ads that may be more relevant to your interests;
- Metadata, associating with the UGC you provided us, which describes other data and provides information about how, when, and by whom the piece of UGC was collected and how that UGC was formatted, such as hashtags used to label the keywords to the video and captions; and Cookies, small pieces of data to enable us to provide certain features, which are collected by us or our business partners to measure and understand the web pages you click on and how you use Hila Services, enhance your experience using Hila Services.
We may also collect, use and share your information to produce and share aggregated insights that do not identify you. Aggregated data may be derived from your Personal Information but is not considered Personal Information as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your usage data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature, to generate statistics about our users, to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific website feature, or to calculate ad impressions served or clicked on.
Storage and access to cookies that are set in connection with the Hila Services are governed by the Hila Party Cookie Policy (“Cookie Policy”).
We will only use your Personal Information when the applicable laws allow us to. In general, we use your Personal Information for the following purposes:
Provide services: To present Hila Services and contents to you, includes interactive features. And to provide you with information, products or services that you allow us to. We also collect and use Personal Information to verify your eligibility and deliver prizes in connection with promotion activities and sweepstakes;
Improvement of services: to improve and personalize our services by presenting new services, information, recommendations, and feedback;
Customer management: to manage registered users' accounts. And provide customer support and notices to the registered users about their account or subscription. And notices about changes to Hila Services or any other product or service we offer or provide through it;
Communication: to communicate and interact with you directly. For example, we may send notifications regarding upcoming changes, promotion activities or improvements on Hila Services;
Content review: to review pictures, images and contents posted or generated on Hila Services to ensure that we comply with any applicable content regulations in any relevant jurisdiction;
Customization of content: to perform research and analysis about your use of, or interest in contents, products, advertising, or services available on Hila Services in order to develop and display content tailored to your interests on our Website and App;
Performance Analysis: to determine whether users of Hila Services are unique, or whether the same user is using Hila Services on multiple occasions, and to monitor aggregate metrics such as total number of visitors, number of videos viewed, demographic patterns;
Functionality and security: to identify users not meeting the age limit, to diagnose or fix technology problems, and to detect, prevent, and respond to actual or potential fraud, illegal activities, or intellectual property infringement;
Compliance: to enforce our terms of use and to comply with our legal obligations;
Aggregation: to aggregate information we collect about you to which one or more purposes described above.
Contact list: The contact list on your device. Legal basis (EEA): To perform our contract with you, provide the Hila Party service and connect with you and your friends.
Cookie: Our vendors and service providers and us use cookies and other similar technologies (e.g., web beacons, flash cookies, etc.) (“Cookies”) to automatically collect information, measure and analyze which web pages you click on and how you use the Platform, enhance your experience using the Platform and improve our services. Cookies are small files which, when placed on your device, enable the Platform to provide certain features and functionality. Web beacons are very small images or small pieces of data embedded in images, also known as “pixel tags” or “clear GIFs,” that can recognize Cookies, the time and date a page is viewed, a description of the page where the pixel tag is placed, and similar information from your computer or device. By using the Platform, you consent to our use of Cookies.
Additionally, we may use your email or other login or device information to link your contact or subscriber information to your activity across all devices on our Platform. We are not responsible for the privacy policies of these third parties, and this Privacy Policy does not cover their information practices.
You may be able to refuse or disable Cookies by adjusting your browser settings. Because each browser is different, please consult the instructions provided by your browser. Please note that you may need to take additional steps to refuse or disable certain types of Cookies. If you choose to refuse, disable, or delete Cookies, some of the functionality of the Platform may no longer be available to you.
Note that we may process your Personal Information for more than one lawful ground depending on the specific purpose for which we use your Personal Information.
Our app collects facial data through your device's camera for the following purposes:
Identity verification: If you use real-life facial recognition, we will collect your photo and facial recognition video with your consent. This is to compare uploaded photos and videos to ensure your identity and prevent account theft or misuse.
Special Effects, Beautification, and Filters: When using certain features on Hila Party to create special effects or emojis for your live stream or uploaded images, we may provide beautification and facial filters during your live stream.
Content Safety: During your live stream, we may capture footage to automatically detect and identify inappropriate content to ensure compliance with platform standards.
Note: This data is only collected when the user actively enables the relevant function.
Facial Data Storage and Duration:
Local Storage: Facial data is processed and stored locally on the device. Data is not uploaded to external servers, and we employ advanced encryption technology to protect data during storage.
Temporary Storage: Facial data is only stored temporarily during the use of a feature. Once processing is complete (for example, applying a filter or completing verification), the data is immediately deleted. We ensure that facial data is not stored in the app for extended periods of time.
Continuous Storage: For certain features (such as saving processed images), the processed image, rather than the original facial data, is stored in the local camera roll only with the user's explicit consent.
Note:
We use facial data from live streams in real time but do not store it.
Real-person authentication data will be retained until you request deletion or modification of your personal information, or until 60 days after your account is deactivated (whichever comes first). This period takes into account the possibility that users may wish to restore their account information; the maximum restoration period is 60 days.
User Control and Data Deletion:
We respect users' right to control their facial data. Users can delete any processed images or disable related features at any time. When users terminate related features, all temporary facial data will be automatically deleted.
Data Security and Privacy Measures:
Encryption: All facial data is encrypted during processing and storage to ensure it cannot be accessed by unauthorized individuals or systems.
Compliance: We strictly adhere to Apple's developer guidelines and relevant privacy regulations to ensure the security of user data.
With your explicit consent, we may share your personal information outside of Hila services.
We may disclose your personal information to service providers or partners we work with in order to provide you with certain services. These services may include fulfilling orders, processing credit card payments, providing paid services, customizing content, analytics, security, map navigation, data storage and cloud services, supporting our features, and other features provided through the Hila Services.
Some Hila Party-related features allow you to share information with audiences outside the Hila Party network—for example, publicly accessible blogs and forums, or certain social media features within Hila Party that allow you to republish and disclose shared information. If you share information using these features, it may be read or used by third parties unaffiliated with us.
You can also connect your Hila Party contact list with the contact lists on your device and/or in third-party service accounts to search for and connect with people from the same Hila Party account within those contact lists. Before doing so, Hila Party will request your permission to access your contact list.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, asset transfer, reorganization or bankruptcy liquidation, the personal information you provide may be transferred to the relevant successor as part of the transaction assets. We promise:
We will require the recipient to continue to perform the personal information protection obligations agreed in this agreement through contracts and other means;
If cross-border transfer is involved, the security assessment or certification procedures will be completed in accordance with the law;
We will inform you of major changes through website announcements and other appropriate means.
Subject to laws and regulations, we may provide your personal information to regulatory agencies, law enforcement agencies or other competent authorities, including but not limited to the following:
To fulfill legal obligations or cooperate with the requirements of judicial and administrative agencies
To enforce platform rules and investigate possible violations
To identify, prevent and deal with security risks or technical issues
To protect the legitimate rights and interests of users, companies or third parties
To ensure the safe and stable operation of the service platform
We will follow the principle of minimum necessary information, take strict security measures, and inform users in a timely manner within the scope of the law.
We may use de-identified statistical data to share business analysis results with partners and ensure that the shared information cannot identify specific individuals.
You have the right to know the details of the information provided (within the scope of the law) and to file a complaint against improper information provision.
Note: When providing personal information across borders, we will complete security assessment or certification procedures in accordance with the law.
We and our third-party service providers may process your personal information in regions outside your country, where the data protection standards may be different from your country or region. No matter where the information is transmitted, we will take necessary protection measures (such as signing a standard data protection agreement, etc.) in accordance with relevant laws and regulations to ensure the security of your personal information.
Based on the scope permitted by data privacy laws, we may need to transfer your information to other countries or regions, such as to perform a contract, protect your rights, or handle legal matters.
When you click on a link to any other website, mobile application or third-party content through Hila Services, you will go to another website or other mobile application and another entity may collect information from or about you. We have no control over, do not review, and cannot be responsible for, these third-party websites or mobile applications or their contents. Please be aware that the terms of this privacy policy do not apply to these third-party websites or mobile applications or content, or to any collection of information after you click on links to these third-party websites, mobile applications or content.
We take appropriate technical and physical security measures to prevent your personal information from unauthorized access and disclosure. In addition, we use encryption technology when transmitting certain personal information and use firewalls to prevent unauthorized persons from accessing your personal information. However, please be aware that we cannot completely eliminate the security risks associated with the storage and transmission of your personal information. You should be cautious when submitting information through the Hila Services and be particularly careful when deciding what information to provide to us.
Users should take reasonable measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of their account passwords and login information.
You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Please note that your choice to disable cookies will only apply to the specific browser or device you are using when you disable cookies, so you may need to disable cookies for each type of browser or device separately. If you disable or refuse cookies, please be aware that some parts of the Site may be inaccessible or not function properly.
You can turn off our sending you push notifications at any time by adjusting the permissions on your mobile device.
If you do not want to open your microphone, camera or other similar features, you can turn them off on your mobile device. You can also hide uploaded videos, last active time and other information by adjusting the "Privacy Settings".
You can choose not to provide us with personal information, but this may result in you being unable to use certain features of Hila Services, as such information may be required to register as a user, purchase paid services, participate in promotions, surveys, sweepstakes or file complaints.
You can modify your information by editing your profile in the App, including accessing your information, correcting or updating your information, or deleting your information.
Hila requires camera permissions to change avatars, room covers, send pictures in chats, customize room backgrounds, and other functions that require the use of the camera. If not allowed, you can still use Hila, but you cannot use the above functions.
Hila requires photo album permissions to change avatars, room covers, send pictures in chats, customize room backgrounds, and other functions that require the use of the camera. If not allowed, you can still use Hila, but you cannot use the above functions.
Hila needs microphone permission to start a voice chat room, have a conversation, and send voice messages. If it is not allowed, you can still use Hila, but you cannot use the above functions.
The laws of some jurisdictions grant Hila users specific rights, which are set out in this section. Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectification, erasure, data portability, withdrawal of consent, restriction of processing, objection, automated decision-making and profiling, all or some of these rights. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, usually within one month, in accordance with applicable law, after appropriate verification procedures have been completed. Your exercise of these rights will generally be free of charge, unless we believe that a fee should be charged under applicable law.
You may submit a request to access the personal information we collect about you by using the help or feedback features on the Hila Services or by emailing your request to support@hilachat.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority (“DPA”), typically the DPA in your country.
Hila Party has a zero-tolerance policy against abuse, exploitation, and/or sexually explicit behavior. Any user who fails to comply with Hila Party's Underage (Under 18) Protection Policy (described below) will be removed from Hila Party and may be subject to penalties by law enforcement. Hila Party uses automated and manual systems to detect underage activity and child sexual exploitation and abuse. Any attempt to circumvent these systems is prohibited. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Humanization of minors and child sexual abuse and exploitation
Sharing, producing, or distributing content involving child sexual abuse or exploitation.
Content involving sexual acts involving minors, such as discussions, sexually suggestive performances, or the use of sexually suggestive clothing, is prohibited.
Any depiction of child nudity or sexualization, including in artistic forms such as drawings or animations.
Involving acts that are harmful or dangerous to minors
Threatening, encouraging, or committing physical violence against minors.
Psychologically abusing, coercing, or manipulating minors.
Enticing or encouraging minors to engage in dangerous activities.
Content that promotes or depicts the neglect or trafficking of minors.
Small images on the platform
The appearance of minors in live broadcasts, videos, or any other form of content is strictly prohibited.
Creating or managing accounts for minors.
Attempting to falsify age to gain platform access.
Reporting Mechanisms
Incidents involving minors will be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or other relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

Prohibited Users
Users convicted of child crimes (including but not limited to sexual assault, physical abuse, neglect, or trafficking) are strictly prohibited from using Hila Party.
Enforcement and Transparency
Enforcement Measures
All violations of our child safety policies will result in immediate account penalties.
Depending on the severity of the violation, Hila Party may cooperate with law enforcement investigations.

Committed to Child Safety
Hila Party continuously evaluates and improves its policies, systems, and practices to maintain the highest standards of child safety. Our goal is to make our platform a safe and inclusive space for everyone.
If you believe we have inappropriately collected personal information from a young user, please contact us at support@hilachat.com.
The storage period of the user's personal data is consistent with the duration of his/her Hila Party account. The duration of the account is calculated from the date of successful registration and ends when the user exercises the right to delete or the account is cancelled according to law.
You may request deletion of your account at any time through:
1.Hila Party app: find Me > Settings >Deactivate;
2.Email: send your request to support@hilachat.com.
Upon receipt of a valid deletion request, the Company will immediately cease processing non-essential personal data after completing the necessary identity verification and compliance review, and complete the technical deletion within 30 working days. We will delete data that does not need to be retained based on regulatory, tax, insurance, litigation or other legal requirements. We will temporarily be unable to delete an account if there is a balance or unresolved claims or disputes. Once the issue that prevented the deletion is resolved, we will delete the account as described above.
We may also retain certain account information for safety, security and fraud prevention purposes. For example, if an account is deactivated due to unsafe behavior, we may retain certain information about that account to prevent that user from opening a new Hila Party account in the future.
When the need for personal information ceases (for example, the retention period for such personal information has expired and the purpose of processing has been achieved), we will destroy such personal information (unless required by law or regulation to retain such personal information). Inactive accounts will be automatically deleted after 180 days (unless you are the authorized account holder of Hila Party).
The personal information destruction procedures are as follows:
Destruction Procedure: Personal information that requires destruction will be destroyed under the supervision of our Data Protection Officer in accordance with our data deletion and retention agreement.
Destruction Method: Personal information recorded or stored electronically will be destroyed through low-level formatting to ensure that the data cannot be copied. Hard copy records and personal information will be destroyed by shredding or incineration.
Hila Party reserves the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time. The aforementioned modifications may include, but are not limited to, changes in service functions, adjustments to data processing methods, or changes in legal requirements.
For major policy changes, we will give you reasonable notice in at least one of the following ways:
Push a prominent announcement in the application
Send a notification to your registered email address
Announce the changes on the official website
You acknowledge and confirm that you are responsible for regularly reviewing the latest version of this policy (identifiable by the "Last Update Date" at the beginning of the document). If you continue to use the Service after the revised policy takes effect, it will be deemed that you have fully read, understood and accepted all the revised terms.
The revision of this policy will automatically take effect from the time stated in the updated "Last Update Date" and will be legally binding on both parties.
